At Mischief on Main, in collaboration with our local small business partner Commonplace Reader on Main Street, we bring you an custom Christmas Photo Experience that goes beyond the ordinary. Say hello to the magic of our Elf Whisperer and the mischievous adventures that await your child!
What to Expect
The Enchantment Begins Before You Arrive
Before your photo session, we want to make it extra special. Complete a brief form to share a bit about your child, allowing us to tailor the experience just for them. This also gives you the opportunity to relay any messages to your child, like answer a persistent question they might have or reinforce the magic of Christmas.
Meet the Mischief-Maker: The Elf Whisperer
Step into a world where tradition meets enchantment with our mischievous elf. Led by our Elf Whisperer, your child gets a 5-minute playtime filled with games and personalized magic. No quick in-and-out here – we're all about creating lasting memories.
Choose Your Adventure
Option 1: Bring Your Own Elf ($40)
For families with their Christmas elf, we add an extra touch of wonder. Receive a custom letter for your child to find on the morning of the photo session, setting the stage for an exciting day of adventure. Parents, simply place the elf in a bag or box for easy transport. Enjoy candid and posed photos. A digital copy of the posed photo included. Additional candid photos are available for purchase after previewing 24 hours later.
Option 2: Elf-Inclusive Experience ($40)
No Christmas elf? No problem! Dive into the magical experience with our mischievous elf, candid and posed photos included.
How it Works
- Schedule Your Appointment: Choose a time for your magical experience. Just one session needed for the entire family.
- Pre-Session Form: Share a bit about your children for a tailored adventure.
- Arrival Magic: Upon arrival, children take the Mischievous Pledge on the porch of Commonplace Reader, setting the tone for a day of enchantment.
- Elf Encounter: Enter the room and to greeted by the Elf Whisperer for a 5-minute individualized play session and candid photo experience for your children.
- Posed Photo Perfection: We close out your session with one final fun posed photo. At this point, your children are happily accustomed to our friend and winter wonderland. It's a stress-free moment, allowing you to pose with our Elf Whisperer or capture a moment with just your children and their Christmas Elf.
- Climb the Wrapping Wonderland: Exit the experience through a staircase adorned in Christmas wrapping and lights, transporting you back to Commonplace Reader. Parents, let us know about any accessibility concerns in advance for accommodations.
- Pre & Post-Session Letters: For families with elves, receive a custom invitation letter the morning of the session and a special day-after letter from your elf.
Photo Delivery and Purchase:Within 24 hours of your enchanting experience, you'll receive an email with a link to your own online gallery. There, you will find your one posed photo ready for download. Plus, you'll have the option to explore more magical moments captured during the session.
